Your heart will be captivated at first sight of Les Moulins de Ramatuelle, a romantic, 200-year-old stone building draped with ivy and accented by pretty white shutters, enhanced by a stunning garden featuring an herb garden and a lush carpet of lawn enclosed by towering cypresses. Beds of fragrant flowers, formal hedges, and manicured trees complete the picture. Inside, the gorgeous, ivy-bedecked dining room has enormous windows looking out onto the garden on one side and vineyards on the other and a canvas roof that glides back on balmy evenings so that you are dining under the stars. A soothing color scheme of soft whites, creams, and beiges radiates understated elegance and refinement. Best of all, the food is superb. The owner of this tiny inn, Christophe Leroy, is well known as one of the finest chefs in Saint Tropez and now owns several restaurants in town as well as catering to the rich and famous on their estates and yachts. For the few lucky guests who can linger after a gourmet dinner, this friendly, intimate inn offers five delightful bedrooms. These are not large, but offer all the amenities of a luxury hotel and exude gentle good taste with a decor in quiet pastels and an appealing, fresh, uncluttered look. In winter, Christophe runs a property in Avoriaz, the Hôtel des Dromonts.
