For more than a thousand years this majestic château has soaked up the sun and looked across the beautiful blue water of the Mediterranean. Rising 400 meters above sea level, the medieval village of Èze looks down upon Cap Ferrat and Nice. You can happily spend an entire afternoon on the secluded hotel terrace overlooking the pool and the stunning coastline vistas and in the sparkle of evening lights, the coastal cities seem to dance along the waterfront. The hotel’s bedchambers open onto views of the Riviera or surrounding hillsides. Housed within the old stone walls of this medieval village, the rooms are not especially large, but are tastefully appointed and enjoy modern conveniences. Enjoy a drink in the bar just off the pool while studying the day’s menu selections. For lunch or dinner, a meal at the Château de la Chèvre d’Or is a wonderful experience, a combination of marvelous cuisine and incredible views. The restaurant is popular with the local community and the many celebrities who have homes on the Riviera, so reservations are a must. Attentive service, superb cuisine, beautiful views, and a serene, medieval atmosphere make the Château de la Chèvre d’Or a hotel to which you will eagerly return.
