Château de Trigance

In the middle of a beautiful valley, with mountains towering as high as 1,500 meters on either side, the medieval town of Trigance clings to a rocky spur. The Château de Trigance is found within the walls and ruins of the ancient castle that crowns the village. The restorations and extent of the work involved to prepare this 11th-century fortress as a hotel are fully appreciated after seeing the “before” and “after” photographs.
