Karen's Review Of This Property:

Eric Gaucheron, a third-generation hôtelier, aims to offer charming, affordable, welcoming accommodations and certainly seems to succeed. He and his parents, Bernard and Colette, along with wife, Sylvie, see to it that each guest is looked after like family. Eric is proud to carry on this tradition in the Familia with its red-geranium-covered balconies in the colorful Latin Quarter. The walls of the hotel’s lobby are decorated with custom murals of street scenes from the neighborhood and the small sitting room and halls are adorned with tapestries over original stone walls and Oriental carpets. Very small, clean rooms have modern marble-tiled baths, TVs, phones, small refrigerators, and double-paned windows, and some have tiny balconies overlooking the street (the highest floor has a view of the towers of Nôtre Dame). Some of the rooms also have sepia-colored murals of Paris scenes or landmarks. Bedspreads are of nice quality. All in all, a welcoming family hotel at a very affordable cost. This hotel has many American guests who rave in the comment books about the warm and caring service from a hôtelier who believes that small details make the difference.
