Hôtel Le Cep

In the heart of the medieval town of Beaune, Le Cep offers charming and comfortable bedrooms decorated with elegance and taste. The Bernards’ son returned to Beaune and settled in with his own family to take over management of Le Cep. He is gracious and continues the high standard of welcome and service. The bedrooms vary in size and decor but are all handsome—highly polished wooden antique furnishings are accented by the beautiful, softly colored fabrics used for the curtains, bedspreads, and upholstery. With each visit these past few years we have been able to see the renovations of yet a few more rooms in the buildings that encircle the inner courtyard. Spacious and grand, these new suites can only be described as elegant and regal. In the bar and public areas, heavy-beamed ceilings, old gilt-framed portraits, and fresh-flower arrangements add character and elegance. The former wine cellar, a cozy room with a low, arched stone ceiling, is used as a breakfast room when the weather does not permit service outdoors in the pretty courtyard. The hotel has a restaurant, Loiseau des Vignes that is under the direction of the 3 star Michelin group of the same name who are famous for their restaurant in Saulieu!  Guests now can enjoy the region's finest foods and wine without leaving the property. Le Cep combines elegance and warmth in idyllic proportions.
