Wine Country Inn

The Wine Country Inn is one of those delightful places that thumbs its nose at being minimalist, chic, and cozy—it delights in being spacious, comfortable, and courteous. Occupying a collection of wood and stone buildings set on a low hillside, surrounded by expansive vineyards, 3 acres of grounds give a spacious feel to this quiet spot, which is central to everything in the Napa Valley. The spaciousness is echoed in the room sizes—there’s not a snug room in the place. Relax, spread out, and enjoy the tranquil setting. Fourteen rooms are housed in the main building, six in the Brandy Barn, and four in the Hastings House. Many of the rooms have private outdoor hot tubs, patios, balconies, and fireplaces. Five individual cottages are set on the hillside overlooking the vineyards. Decor ranges from rustic barnwood to contemporary. Do not be concerned about staying in one of the older rooms for everything is pleasingly maintained. Relax by the lovely pool and take your wine and hors d’oeuvres (delicious homemade appetizers) onto the deck to soak up the view across the vineyards to distant hills. An excellent breakfast is served.
