The Cottages of Napa Valley

Nestled in two secluded acres next to Highway 29 between Napa and Yountville are eight brightly colored luxury cottages, a creation of owner Mike Smith. What was formerly a motor court (the oldest of the original cottages dates back to the 1920’s) has been transformed into a garden court, with open space and mature trees. Opened in late 2005, individual accommodations vary in size from 450 to 600 square feet. Generally the larger the unit, the better it is equipped for self catering. The largest has a full kitchen. Furnishings and appointments are first class. King size beds (supplemented with queen sized folding beds for extra guests) vaulted ceilings with their signature cupola skylights, fireplaces, and wood floors are the order of the day. Modern bathrooms feature heated floors, with earth tone tiles and two-person soaking tubs. Every cottage has its own patio or porch and wood burning chimenea. Wine and cheese tastings are hosted on Friday evenings. Continental breakfast, is delivered to your room and features scrumptious pastries from nearby Bouchon Bakery. The concierge will be happy to help with custom wine tours, bicycle tours, dinner reservations and hot air ballooning. Too active for your taste?
