Oak Knoll Inn

Surrounded by 600 acres of vineyards, Oak Knoll Inn has an idyllic setting in the Napa Valley. You find the entry and prettily decorated front sitting room in the original stone farmhouse. Another building was added to each side to house guestrooms, each with a private entrance opening onto a wraparound deck overlooking the vineyards. Breakfast is a feast served on winter mornings in front of the stone fireplace, on warm mornings outside on the deck, or in the privacy of your room. Barbara, John and their staff are all especially knowledgeable and happy to plan personalized tours, recommend restaurants for dinner and lunch and make dining reservations. Whether it is your first, or your fiftieth time in the valley; whether overview tour of the wineries, or your passion is Pinots; they will plan a detailed trip for you. Guestrooms are especially large, magnified further by the high vaulted ceilings. Our favorites, number 6 and 1 both have arched windows that tower to the height of the ceiling and offer splendid views of the vineyards. Each luxurious bedroom enjoys a king-size bed, a sitting area before a fireplace, and a top of the line modern bathroom. After a busy day sightseeing relax poolside and enjoy the quiet and beauty of a backdrop of vineyards and the valley’s rolling hills.
