Justin Winery has a glorious setting, tucked in gently rolling hills 16 miles west of Paso Robles. The winery complex (consisting of the tasting room, reception, boutique, restaurant, and guestrooms) is beautiful and the setting is serene. The attractive wooden buildings are set off to perfection by lush lawns and well-tended gardens. The suites at the Just Inn combine the luxury and amenities of a five-star hotel with the friendliness of a family-run inn while looking out over the vineyards. The suites feature European antiques, fine fabrics, feather beds, down comforters, frescoed ceilings, flower-filled windowboxes, marble bathrooms with hydro spas, and wood-burning fireplaces. The Sussex suite (a little bit of the English countryside) opens onto the garden while the Provence and Tuscany suites have balconies where you can sip a glass of wine while looking over the vineyards. For the ultimate winery experience opt for the Bordeaux suite, a pied-a-terre, located several miles away from the inn at the winery proper. Guests also have the use of a pretty swimming pool tucked in the garden. Amazingly for such a small inn, there is a restaurant, Deborah’s Room, which is open every night. In this cozy, elegantly decorated dining room a gourmet dinner is served nightly.
