The Romantik Hotel Schloss Mondsee, a former Benedictine Monastery, is located just east of Salzburg, Austria, and lies on the shores of the warmest lake in the Salzkammergut region.

Each of the 69 guest rooms are two-story, have separate living and bedroom areas, and free internet access. The spa area offers a variety of facilities and services to reach an increased level of rejuvenation. Guests can follow in the footsteps of the Benedictine monks and take a walk through the historical meditation passageway with its low lighting, cool air, and soft choir music.

Opportunities to taste local specialities abound at the hotel, and fishermen deliver their catch daily.
