Romantik Hotel Spielmann

The Hotel Spielmann, with its great location, charm, amenities, food, history, and genuine warmth of welcome, is one of our absolute favorites. Sitting in a picturesque village in a high mountain valley, the hotel is surrounded by meadows and pastures and has an unobstructed view of the mountains. This is a paradise for children, with a swimming pool, playground, and plenty of animals about. Inside, the hotel has a delicious Alpine ambiance, with hunting trophies, grandfather clock, wooden sled, antique chests, and painted armoires. Each of the bedrooms is individually decorated. The rooms in the older part of the building are absolutely delightful but if you want the best, request one of the lovely new rooms (such as 206): these have a bedroom and separate sitting area and are prettily decorated with floral fabrics or the Suite Family South (103): a beautiful suite with huge balcony and children’s sleeping room. The dining room is the heart of the hotel, and the food is so outstanding that the kitchen has received many awards. The final ingredient of perfection is the wonderful Spielmanns, who share their love and knowledge of this beautiful mountain region with their guests. Grandfather Spielmann was a noted athlete and his family continues the tradition: Christian is a well-known mountain climber and his sisters are champion skiers.
