Seeschlössl Velden

The Wörther See is a beautiful lake tucked in the mountains in southern Austria near the Italian border. The colorful resort town of Velden nestles at the western end of the lake where you find a bustle of activities with lots of tourists enjoying the cute town, sunning at the beach, and trying their hand at the popular casino. It is hard to imagine a holiday more individual than this: amid a 7,000 m2 nature park right on the lake shore, this small, enchanted castle offers luxury accommodations for only thirty guests.

So, what else would one expect from a “fin-de-siècle”-style summer retreat? – A small castle perched right on the tranquil shoreline, surrounded by green, shady groves of trees, yet not at all far from the centre of this pulsating lake resort.
