Cooking Classes at
Le Cinciallegre B & B and Farm Holidays

At Le Cinciallegre Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast offers cooking lessons. Christina, the owner and the chef, will teach you how to cook exquisite meals and recipes so that when you are back home you will amaze your friends.

In fact she will teach you how to prepare dishes typical of the Italian kitchen but with simple ingredients that you can find in any store in the USA or UK.

The classes take place in the kitchen or the barbecue area in the garden of the estate. Through a glass of white wine and friendly chatting you will learn not only how to cook but also you will relax and take advantage of the deep human contact that is a characteristic of Cinciallegre’s owners.

Christina ’s passion  for cooking started long ago in the 70’s at home with her family life. She  has always been cooking for the family and was only in the 90’s that she begun to cook professionally.

In 2004 and 2009 she was invited by the RAI, the Italian television broadcasting, at the "prova del cuoco",a show made up for teaching cooking, very followed and appreciated in Italy.

The classes take place from May to June, July and September on two days basis  and are settled as follows:

In the morning at 9,30 after breakfast, Christina introduce the lesson explaining the regional  origin and the story of the recipe that will be taught that morning. Following the preparation is the tasting of the customers’ production for lunch.

Every classes teaches how to prepare a meal composed by : primo piatto i.e. spaghetti all’amatriciana

un secondo piatto i.e cotoletta alla milanese, un dessert i.e. tiramisù.

So that by the end of the cookery classes, you will be  able to prepare 2 primi piatti, 2 secondi piatti and 2 desserts.

Here we want to mention just few examples of the recipes that will be showed  during the lessons.

Some of the most famous dishes of the Italian tradition :

Primi piatti:

Pasta con ragù alla bolognese, spaghetti alla carbonara, spaghetti all’amatriciana, risotto con i funghi, gnocchi, pizza alla napoletana, lasagne, cannelloni.....

Secondi piatti:

Cotoletta alla milanese, pollo alla cacciatora, melanzane alla parmigiana, arrosto di maiale, polpettone al forno, coniglio, scaloppine al limone....

Desserts: Tiramisù, panna cotta, bavarese, crostata con marmellata, torte di frutta....

The cooking lessons take place for a minimum of two up to a maximum of 8 participants and only upon reservation.

Special request of recipe  learning must be submitted on booking time.

The classes are on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only, from 9,30 to 13,00.

Two days classes, rate per person € 240.
