Mariangela Catalani: "Cooking has always been my great passion, I learned watching my grandmother kneading the dough to make the "tagliatelle" and observing my mum when she used to prepare her biscuits.
For a time my passion also turned in a profession, in fact I run a restaurant with an extensive wine cellar."

- tutti a tavola : visit of the food market, a hands on cooking lesson, dishes prepared together will be served for lunch
- pasta che passione: visit of the food market, two cooking lesson, the lunches with the prepared food

Mariangela at Le Stanze di Santa Croce offers a wonderful "home away from home" in Florence. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. Mariangela, along with Barbara and Raffaelo, provide a friendy and welcoming place to stay in the heart of Florence. The location is great! Having read about Mariangela’s lovely B&B on the Karen Brown website, I booked a visit for my daughter and me on our first trip to Italy. It was indeed a perfect place for us to start! We enjoyed our sweet room and delicious breakfasts on the terrace. Mariangela’s smiling face provided a warm greeting each morning and the other guests were as interesting as our hostess.
