Gabriella offers cooking classes for learning how to cook typical Tuscan food. You can learn how to make Ribollita, homemade pasta, Italian cake and much much more. Enter in a typical Italian kitchen and learn about the ingredients, the traditions and the products. Vegetarians classes available on request.

Gabriella is they heart of Il Caggio. After a life as a high school teacher, she decided to go back to the village where she met Paolo, her husband, 40 years ago. As soon she visited il Caggio she understood that it was the place were they wanted to live. After growing three children, il Caggio is for them a way for them to have the world everyday in their living room.

Visiting Il Caggio is not simply staying at a hotel ora agriturismo, is like being part of a Tuscan family.
Il Caggio offers a pleasant stay for both families and couples. My children and their two friends (of 8 and 6) were fond of the garden and crazy for the natural salt whirlpool bath (an extra of value)! We adults were amazed by the beauty of the ancient "casale", renovated with very good taste. Silence, nature, typical Italian homemade food, animals, a wide swimming poo...

Our stay with Paolo and Gabriella was fantastic. Everything about it was perfect, the setting, atmosphere, location, their hospitality and the food. Gabriella is the most wonderful cook. She makes everything, bread, cakes, dinners on request. We have never tasted food like it anywhere. It was the most perfect place to stay and relax.
