Küssnacht am Rigi, located on the north bank of Lake Lucerne, is an especially pretty village and makes a great place to stop for lunch when you take a boat ride from Lucerne. The ferry pulls up right in front of the Hotel du Lac Seehof where you dine on a treeshaded terrace overlooking the lake. After lunch, you can wander through the village, which has some colorful historic buildings.
