Morcote, a tiny lakeside village south of Lugano, is a photographer’s dream with its colorful, arcaded houses clinging to a wooded hillside that rises abruptly from the water. Morcote is a great destination, either for spending the night, or as a place to come for lunch at one of the charming restaurants perched over the lake.
