The highlight of the small village of Rollet, which is beautifully situated on the waterfront in the center of the wine-growing region, is its handsome, 13th-century, moated castle that stretches to the edge of the lake. Built by the Duke of Savoy, the castle is very picturesque with a proper moat, turrets, and towers.
