Soazza

A Karen Brown Recommendation

Recenter Map To This Location

Soazza, a tiny hamlet with only about 300 inhabitants, is perched on a sunny terrace overlooking the gentle, verdant Mesocco Valley, which leads north from Bellinzona to the San Bernardino Pass, a route that has possibly been used since prehistoric times. This picture-perfect village is enhanced by a lovely 13th-century church perched atop a knoll overlooking the town. Handsome stone houses, which appear untouched by time, line the narrow, cobbled streets.
