picturesque as it cuts a path right through the rich pastures and dairy farms, a route often appropriately signed Route du Fromage (Cheese Road). If you want to stop and sample the regional ewes’ cheese, the tasting room of Fromage de Brebis, just past Herauritz, is well signed along this charming country road.
