Mürren, tucked high on a mountain ledge overlooking the Lauterbrunnen Valley, is so precipitously perched that its only access is by cable car. The views from here are incredible and the hiking superb. Mürren has no direct access to the Jungfraujoch, but offers its own adventure—a trip by a series of cable cars that climb further up the mountain, ending the Schilthorn, where a revolving restaurant makes a great luncheon stop.
