Recenter Map To This Location

Hathersage, a thriving, non-traditional Derbyshire village strung out along the main road. Its tourist attractions center on its 14th-century church, St. Michael and All Angels, built by a knight named Robert Eyre. Memorial brasses to the Eyre family are in the church and Charlotte Brontë used the village as “Morton” in Jane Eyre. In the graveyard is the reputed grave of Little John, the friend and lieutenant of Robin Hood.
