We fell in love with Soglio from our first glimpse of this unbelievably picturesque town, perched on a mountain ledge high above the splendid Bregaglia Valley. Although located a bit off the beaten path, this jewel is well worthy of a detour, particularly if you are captivated by ancient villages untainted by any hint of commercialism. Not only is the town charming, but its views are amazing.
