The town is a maze of small, narrow streets. For sightseeing, the main attraction is San Francisco, a church now converted into a museum that displays some of the finest work of Benozzo Gozzoli, including the fresco Life of St. Francis. Also, a delicious wine, Sagrantino, is produced here.
