Quarterdeck Inn On The Sea

My wife and I were looking to get away and relax for a week or so and the vacation Gods steered us in the right direction. I like to research our trips well but dumb luck sent us to a place we will return to time and time again. Friendly and helpful residents, views to knock your socks off, and food this Mid-Westerner usually only dreams about. We stayed at the Quarterdeck Inn On The Sea and truth be know, if we never left the property, it would have been fine with me. This is the closest to the ocean I have ever been with my shoes on. The view from the Inn is spectacular and the horn to signal the changing tide lulled us to sleep every night. Randy, the Inn keeper, goes above and beyond the call of duty to make your stay comfortable. His suggestions of places to go, eat, and see saved us valuable time and once we realized how accurate he was, we never hesitated to follow his lead. The Inn itself is very comfortable and the layout is perfect for being alone or mingling. Rockport itself is wonderful but Randy and the Inn made it spectacular. If you need to get away to relax or love photography or long for seafood for breakfast, lunch or dinner, Rockport and the Quarterdeck Inn is the place to go. We talked about it so much, our kids are really looking forward to going with us this year.
