Dear Karen, This past fall, while I was attending the MARMOMACC Stone Fair in Verona, Italy; I happened to come across the most delightful Bed and Breakfast called Agriturismo Delo. The B&B is owned and operated by a radiant young couple, Mariantonia and Ettore Mozzanega. I must say that they have done a magnificent job in restoring what was once an ancient Monastery. Mariantonia was kind enough to walk me through the entire building and took great pride in detailing every nook and corner that she so meticulously rehabilitated. The B&B is located just 15 minutes from the Verona City Center in what is known as the Squaranto Valley. The building is surrounded by the majestic rolling hills of the lower Apennines. Ettore and Mariantonia also have their own vineyards and actually bottle their own Riccoto. As an ardent fan of your show, I would highly recommend that you feature this lovely bed and breakfast in one of your upcoming events. Thank You, Sincerely, Asaif

My wife and I just spent 3 wonderful nights at Agriturismo Delo. The property is lovely, with clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. You feel as if you’re many miles into the countryside, but the old town of Verona is only 15 minutes away. The house is surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, and even includes a 1200 year old tower. However, all this is secondary to the warmth and friendliness shown by Ettore and his family. Ettore and his fabulous family could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The property is magnificent and their warmth and helpfulness made our short stay in Verona a lifelong memory. Ettore directed us to his home town of Mantua and a wonderful place to eat in Verona.
We will stay with them again if we are lucky enough to return to Verona.
