Maso di Villa

Just off the beaten track in the Veneto region, the northern countryside surrounding Treviso offers scenic landscapes, wine roads of prosecco and historic villages such as Conegliano, Vittorio Veneto and Asolo in the foothills of the Dolomites. Here the Lucchetta family have opened a quaint country-style bed and breakfast. The large stone home is divided in half between private and guests’ quarters with wood being the primary material in floors, stairs, country furniture and carvings. The other prominent theme is flowers, fresh or dried bouquets, on upholstered chairs, curtains or framed prints and paintings adorn colorful Provencal walls which give names of the bedrooms. Three bedrooms (notice the beautiful bed linens) are on each of the upper floors while a cozy breakfast reception area, and sitting room are reserved for guests on ground floor. The expansive surrounding property includes a swimming pool and picture-perfect organic vegetable garden. A full breakfast is served under the pergola in warmer months and a good restaurant is within walking distance to the home.
