Poggio ai Santi

Poggio ai Santi has a magnificent view over a green valley down to the distant sea. Francesca has put her heart and soul into the place over the past 20 years with the emphasis being on the comfort and ease of her guests. In order to fulfill the needs of both families and couples she has divided the property into two separate accommodations, conveniently separated by a road. On the left is the Muccheria, two converted farms houses, bi-level family apartments with kitchen facilities, its own swimming pool and play area. On the right is the Poggio ai Santi with the family’s stately main house, plus a one-story guest house with five junior-suite-sized rooms, all with independent entrances from the garden. A second guest house with additional suites is further down the hill. An immediate sense of calm and well-being is invoked by the views, the peaceful ambiance, the immaculate rooms appointed in soft earth tones with their spacious bathrooms with natural stone tiles and rain showers. The pool area is landscaped primarily with aromatic herbs and lavender. Breakfast is served out on the veranda; lunch and dinner can be enjoyed in the wonderful Il Sale restaurant.
