Imagine a Renaissance setting, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, in a countryside that never seems to change. That’s the feeling you get while staying in either of the wonderful remodeled barns on the property. Each is charming, cozy, and oh-so Italian... yet with all the modern conveniences. The beds are comfy, the kitchen invites stay-at-home cooking, and the swimming pool is just devine.... especially at night! Pornanino is located between Radda and Castellina. You can move in with a couple weeks worth of groceries and books and never leave. With a rental car, this is the one of the best locations for day tours - it’s a short drive to anywhere in Chianti. Franco, Lia, and their family (a daughter and son live right up the hill) are warm and welcoming. Franco’s seminar about olive oil is not only informative, but so much fun! Pornanino is one of those places that people wish they had found after hearing about it from friends. Don’t miss the opportunity!

We all agreed that this was the best vacation we have ever had. The property is beautifully keep and the Lombardi's are wonderfully hospitable and make you feel like a part of their family. They went out of their on several occasions to help us in ways far beyond what would be expected. We plan to return again soon. If you want to see Tuscany, you simply can't do better.
