We have just returned from another trip to Italy. We love Karen Brown recommendations and usually plan our trip around itineraries and accommodation suggested and listed on the website. During this trip we stayed at Antica Casa Naldi in Montecarlo and really loved it. We chose it because on previous trips to Montecarlo we really enjoyed the hospitality of the two owners, Antonella and Miriam, when they owned and operated another hotel. I highly recommend this property. The rooms are really quiet and spacious. There is lots of common space both in the house and outside on the decks or patio for visiting and relaxing. Although the owners are not present all the time, they make sure the kitchen is well stocked with lovely breakfast and tea items so the guests can help themselves as they wish. The well-equipped kitchen is also available for guests to prepare their own meals. Miriam met us on our arrival and immediately offered us lovely coffee and cake and provided lots of advice regarding restaurants and nearby sights. The property worked really well for the group of us traveling together.
