Locanda San Rocco

The Locanda San Rocco is located in the heart of the Marches region, in spectacularly unspoilt countryside virtually unknown to international tourists. The Pirri family from Rome return to their native Marches in the summer months and gracious hostess Signora Gisla opened her summer bed and breakfast business in order to share her love for this beautiful piece of the country. She offers very charming accommodation within an 18th-century stone farmhouse, part of a small village near their 132-acre property. Guests have full run of the house, which includes a large living area in a cozy exposed-stone and wood-beamed room, billiard room, and dining room looking out to a patio and garden at the back. The home is very tastefully appointed with fine country antiques, crisp striped fabrics on overstuffed armchairs, and sofas in sea-green and burgundy tones. The six bedrooms, divided between two floors and reached by an elevator, have wrought-iron beds, fine linens, and original brick floors.
