Agriturismo Castello di Vezio

We stayed there for a long weekend in October 2010. We stayed at Casa Cima, one of the houses on the property. The property is amazing. The view on the lake of Como is breath-taking, both from our house and from the big garden of the property. I have been traveling extensively in the Lake Como area and I have never seen such an amzing view and property. Also, the property has a huge garden (more an entire hill than a garden) which we truly enjoyed. Everything (the house, the garden, the castle...) is very well maintained. The property has 2 swimming pools that are rented out exlusively with 2 houses of the property, Casa Pupa and Casa Cima. The property has a total of 9 houses. We were very warmly welcomed by the Staff of the Agriturismo Castello di Vezio. On saturday we walked up to the Castel of Vezio (part of the property) and the view from the top of the tower was possibly better. The Castle has originis in the Longobards ages. We also walked to Varenna on a dirt path (it took us less than 10 minutes) and it was beautiful. Casa Cima was very clean and better equipped than our own house. We will be back next year for sure.
