Le Sorgive

Le Sorgive, near Lake Garda, is a vast agritourism property, an oasis that offers a wealth of activities connected with nature and agriculture. Anna and her brother, Vittorio, both passionate advocates for the environment, divide the duties, with Anna operating a large country restaurant, Le Volpi, and a major equestrian center where locals convene, and Vittorio running the hospitality end. The 60 acres are made up of cultivated fields, vineyards, and woods with plenty of farm animals within the triangle of flat countryside between Brescia, Mantova, and Verona. The extensive yellow main house with cupola and arched portico contains the family’s private quarters, dining room, and eight well-appointed guestrooms, some with loft beds for two children, spread about the three floors. For longer stays, there are also two lovely apartments. An ample country breakfast is served in the rustic beamed dining room with fireplace. Anna’s busy restaurant highlights recipes specifically from the Mantova area, using the variety of organic produce, cheeses, and salamis. Other facilities offered are a fully-equipped gym, swimming pool, and mountain bikes.
