My wife Linda and I recently stayed for one tremendously pleasant evening and night with Anna and Jacques who are co-owners of the this very quaint five hundred year old family residence B&B in Montichiari Italy. The owners are on site and did everything possible to make our brief stay as pleasant and rewarding as possible. The B&B is located in a very nice typical Lombardy town with a beautiful Cathedral and lots of local charm. It is also located only a few KM from Lake Garda which is one of Italy's premier resort towns. If you decide to choose this B&B for one of your overnights please be sure to ask to share supper with your hosts in their wonderful little courtyard.

This wonderful B&B came highly recommended by friends and exceeded expectations during our four night stay. The welcome from hosts Anna and Jacques is outstanding and their beautiful 16th century house offers comfort, charm and historical interest in full measure. The delightful courtyard provides an excellent base to relax and plan trips into Montichiari, with plenty of expert advice and information available from Anna and Jacques. Since discovering this hidden gem in 1963, we have returned five times never tiring of this beautifully refurbished 16th Century Villa, complete with original frescoes in the sitting and dining rooms. The courtyard and loggia offer delightful areas for relaxation at any time of the day, or night with a stunning view of the Duomo which is just located 1 minute away in the main piazza of Montichiari.
