Dimora Bolsone was an exquisite find! Perched up on the hilltops of the picturesque Gardone Riviera district, this renovated 15thC manor house set within ‘the garden of senses’ offers unrivaled outlooks and tranquility. The rooms are beautifully decorated with traditional Italian flair and the beds are very comfortable (are rare find in Italy we found) The breakfasts are sublime and served al fresco, with a variety of local organic produce and a vast selection of teas and pastries. The host, Raffael is incredible, so accommodating, with lots of local anecdotes and profound knowledge of the region and all best 'touristy' spots. The towns below and adjacent are bustling and mottled with little beaches, shops and restaurants. Boat trips, mountain biking and golf can also be arranged. This is traditional, charming Italy at its best and can be enjoyed by the whole family!
