Villa La Vescogna:
Last summer we spent some days at Villa La Vescogna, the beauty and charm of this place still lingers in my mind. The house itself is utterly gorgeous, well designed, makeing one feel really pampered. It’s an authentically old and noble mansion with smashing views of the countryside and the Alps from literally every window.The beginning of the day we appreciate the delicious breakfast served in a beautiful old dining room or on the terrace in a relaxed and unfussy way. The outdoor dining area and swimming pool were wonderful. We spent most of our time by the pool enjoying the beautiful surroundings.The pool was very big and clean. The owners made us feel welcome and provided us with such amazing information about shopping in Milan( about 40 min.by car), visiting all the beautiful villas on lake Como, good restaurants in the area and above all we discovered the best "bresaola",a delicious cold cut made from the cow typically from Lombardy. This is a highly reccomended, truly special place.

Villa La Vescogna is a true Italian gem. My husband, 12 year old daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights this past summer at the end of our tour of Italy and enjoyed every moment. From the spectacular grounds, amazing pool, incredible views from our room, and the wonderful, warm, gracious hosts, we never left the property!!!!
