West of Naples from Pozzuoli to the tip of the gulf is an area full of archaeological sites with noteworthy Roman and Greek ruins. After spending 30 some years living in London Signora Giulia returned to her birthplace with the desire to live in the country near the city. She bought and skillfully renovated an ancient farmhouse creating an oasis of gardens, orchards and vineyards in the midst of a now modern community. Once inside her complex you will be enchanted. The bedrooms are divided among five apartments each with its own living room and either kitchenette or full kitchen facilities (divine antique hand-painted tiles). Italian and British influences harmonize perfectly in rooms appointed with a variety of antiques, lovely linens, white sofas and crisp fabrics. Each refined apartment has a garden or patio space. Breakfast and dinners (by reservation) are served outside by the barbecue and wood-burning oven. Cooking classes can be arranged. Guests enjoy lounging around the poolside. Just 5 km away is Pozzuoli where ferries depart for Capri, Ischia, Procida, Ponza, Ventotene Islands and Sardinia.
