Nostra Signora dei Turchi, now a very intimate B&B, is an old country house perfectly restored by Luigi, Patrizia and Francesca. It's located few kilometers from Lecce, the city of italian Barocco, and few kilometers inland of Otranto, next to the wonderful southern Italy sea, but definitely away by the mass and the noise of summer months. Luigi and Patrizia have been organizing jazz concerts in Nostra Signora through the 80s and the 90s, with musicians as Ray Charles, Paolo Conte, Michel Petrucciani, Chet Baker and many others. Now the B&B gives you back that atmosphere made of beautiful music, night chats with the guests, delicate relax. It also has a wonderful garden, a swimming pool and a tennis court. The six rooms are simple and elegant, breakfast (jams and cakes homemade by Patrizia) is served in the garden, but you can always have a coffee with almond milk in the bar of the gorgeous small Giurdignano.

Last year I have been in Salento for two weeks and still I feel missing those beautiful time.
I never thought it could be possible find such beautiful place that allows you to stay between the most touristic coast and the calm of the inner side of the Salento.
I feel sure to be able to suggest the same experience to any couple who may be in Salento for its first time and may like to discover the beauty of the Italian history and its actual nature.

Simply fantastic, cozy and warm affectionate sympathy.
I had never been in Puglia in Salento. At Nostra Signora dei Turchi , I discovered that it is still possible to find places and people that will warm the heart.
I recommend it strongly, still remember with great pleasure the beautiful swimming pool and the rich breakfast buffet with local delicacies.
