We are very upset for what they reported and we want to take our responsibility for those things which are true. First of all when they first inquired us for availability, Carla told them that only Podere was available at the same price as the other big apartments. Until 2 years ago Mario and his family used to live in Podere. Afterwards they move into another house and since then Podere was used as another apartment for guests. Some works have been done. Anyway the apartment is part of a seventeenth century building so we could not do many changes. For example it is true that one bathroom is newer than the other and the reason being it was not there and we built it brand new. When Carla told them that Podere was a new apartment she did not mean to underline that it was new (she didn't say "too new", indeed) but she only wanted to justify why Podere was not on the website. In fact guests can be worried if they book an apartment which is not on the website.... It is true that the shower needed to be fixed up and I did fix it. And Vincenzo fixed the porch awning. We cannot understand what kind of odor they smelled, we really don't know but I am sure that if they had said that to us we would have solved the problem! Concerning the kitchen, it is a normal kitchen which has been obviously used but which works perfectly. Also the other kitchens have been used! We would like to know which cookware was unusable...we have good stainless steel pots. We know that Podere has not the same elegance as the other apartments, but it is comfortable and clean, and it gets the same services as the others get. For sure it is not true that we were not kind with them. I asked them how was their stay while they were having dinner and Carla did when they went to settle the bill (as usual!) They also had cooking lessons and looked very happy and interested with them. They were always smiling (except one of the 2 ladies, Mrs D.-NOTE THE READER ASKED TO REMAIN ANNONYMOUS). Gabriella in that week was very busy with her job and she was rarely in the farmhouse. We are really sad for this negative feedback,especially when you think that everything is going well but then it is not like this in actual fact. We will take note of this feedback and try to improve. We also hope that you will receive some positive feedback and if so, please, let us know. Thank you very much for letting us know about that.
