Sea Shore Farm Guesthouse

Sea Shore Farm, run by Mary and Owen O’Sullivan, is a particularly peaceful place to stay, no more than a five minutes’ drive from Kenmare or a fifteen minute walk to town by a quiet side road. On arrival you are welcomed with a cup of tea or coffee “to settle you in” and given plenty of information on what to do in and around Kenmare. The lounge, overlooking the Kenmare Bay, has lots of literature on the area. All the bedrooms look over the fields across the Kenmare Bay to the mountains of the Beara Peninsula where the roads are quieter and the scenery very similar to that on the Ring of Kerry. The two downstairs rooms have patios and are wheelchair compatible. It’s a blissfully quiet and rural place to stay yet close to the bustle of Kenmare with its excellent restaurants, pubs, and shops. You are just off the Ring of Kerry. If you do not want to deal with coaches and lots of other traffic head for the Beara Peninsula where you get quieter roads and spectacular views.
