23 Grand Rue was a wonderful surprise; our 3 day stay was delightful. Hosts, Madeleine and Peter, were warm, welcoming, well read and very knowledgeable about the area's history, which we were there to explore. Dinners with Peter, Madeleine, and other guests were an option and they proved to be very special evenings. We felt as if we were visiting in the home of good friends who just happened to be expert in gourmet cooking, fine wines and great conversation. The linens and toiletries provided in the guestrooms were quite luxurious. Our guest room was compact but there were cozy spots for reading or gathering in the library or parlor. We hope that we will be so fortunate as to to visit again soon.
