Villa Le Port d’Attache

After operating charters boats for 20 years in Greece and Turkey, Gillian and Daniel decided to finally settle on “firm land.” They bought this charming Provencal house in 2001, up the hill in Vallauris (so famous for the pottery), located 10 minutes from Cannes.  In 2007, they decided to transform one story of their house into a B&B. They did a tremendous job, and 4 charming bedrooms now await your visit. All named after different winds, the rooms are decorated with care and taste in a contemporary style, with wooden floors, and furnished with valuable pieces from Gillian and Daniel’s world travels or family heritage. Three of the rooms enjoy a panoramic view over the famous “Baie des Anges” of Nice. Great amenities have been added such as plasma TV’s, air conditioning and mini bars. The spacious bathrooms, with either a bathtub or shower, have been designed with teak furnishings to give guests the feeling of being on a boat. The “Mistral” room, with white and grey coloured fabrics, has a canopy bed and offers an intimate private terrace with table and chairs. I particularly like the “Sirocco” room, the largest room, which is situated upstairs and has its own terrace with a panoramic view and a little balcony. You will be captivated by the surroundings with abundant flowers, fruit trees and a secluded swimming pool. An abundant breakfast is served under their magnificent barrel vault. You will truly be charmed by the place and its hosts.
