Chateau de Beaulieu

Lt Col and Mrs Eddie Parks are superb hosts and guides of this area of Normandy. My husband and I are experienced, mature travelers but after speaking with the Parks on the phone we decided to not only stay at the chateau but also allow them, with some input from us, to arrange our itinerary. The tours were well planned, personal, informative and fun. The stay at this renovated, charming chateau was very pleasant and serene. The whole package was perfect and we would return again if we decide to see more of the area. Lt Col Parks is newly retired from the British Marines as a career officer and his wife Sharon is a history buff. They do it all including the cooking so if you are looking for country French food this is not the place. However if personal, comfortable, country luxury is how you would like to see Normandy this is a good choice.
