My husband and I just returned from a three week visit to France. We visited all of the historic wine regions, but perhaps our most enjoyable stay was in Burgundy in the tiny little village of Villette. This was the last stop of our trip, and one of the most relaxing destinations. Chateau de Villette is owned by Coen and Catherine Stork, and this beautiful old chateau has been renovated to perfection. Original oil paintings hang from the walls of this elegant french country chateau. The grounds overlook the vast and open countryside, just a short distance from the famed Grand Cru vineyards of Burgundy. The Stork family also owns the town of Villette, so the entire forest and locale are yours to explore. The Coen's have created a five-star hunting destination that guests visit from around the world. Catherine makes sure that your every need is met and your experience is exceptional in every way. Their wine selection was indeed impressive, and the food would rival any of the finest restaurants. But it was their warm and welcoming attention to detail that made this chateau stand out from the rest. Catherine and Coen have truly created a destination that will delight and enthrall guests for years to come.
