Chateau Soussac

My family and I stayed at Chateau Soussac for 4 days and had the most wonderful time. Nell and Joe were incredibly hospitable and kind. We were looked after from the moment we arrived. We had a B&B and evening dinner package. Food was exceptional. We could not recommend the evening dinner more. The chateau is fabulous: relaxing, grand, very comfortable and our bedrooms were huge and the beds very comfortable and the power showers were fantastic - there are also large baths if you prefer. The chateau produces a very good Bordeaux Superior and Joe gave us a tour of the vineyards and cellars and told us all about the wine business. The chateau is brilliantly located for visiting Saint Emilion and both Nell and Joe provide useful recommendations on where to visit - Nell even makes appointments to visit other private wine chateaux for tastings. At the chateau there is billiard room, library, outdoor table tennis, and the lovely pool area at the chateau is also excellent for simply relaxing in the sun. We sorely regret not staying longer - we will be back again without a doubt as the pace of life did us all the world of good..
