My partner and I spent four happy days at this beautiful B&B in the countryside of the Dordogne in South west France. We travel extensively and we were very pleased with the extra-large rooms which are among the most comfortable we have ever encountered. Our room was beautifully and elegantly furnished and every thing is of very high quality—the king-sized bed, the French antique furniture, the fine linens and towels-- and the treat of having our delicious breakfast served on our room’s private terrace was a welcome added bonus. The pool is very inviting and we hope to come back to La Millasserie in high summer to enjoy it. The owners--one French and one American-- have been long-time property owners in this region and were friendly, extremely helpful and informative. I can highly recommend this unique B&B as a special place to stay in one of the most beautiful areas of France.

Down a quiet country road and backing onto a silent forest, La Millasserie offers 4 large and very private guest rooms with en suite baths contingent to the owners magnificent ancient home. The rooms are all beautifully furnished with locally found antiques, and decorated with style and grace. A lovely garden greets you when you step out of your room, and your private terrace faces the forest, affording you moments of quiet contemplation any time of the day. La Millasserie was the perfect base from which to explore the Dordogne and so my stay was a study in relaxation, punctuated by occasional reminders of the amazing landscape, architecture and nature that the Dordogne offers. La Millasserie offers a welcome isolation and its friendly and conversational hosts greet with smiles and useful information.
