How come i can find a better place to stay in the basque country, if i do not want to book a palace in Biarritz? astonishing design, wonderful french breakfast, huge rooms and quiet place! What can i say more! Good restaurants around, nice place to stop for a few days before going to Bilbao Guggenheim the little village of Guethary is wonderful, with the surf scenes and game of pelote at the fronton i won't go anywhere else now i know this place and their lovely kind host and hostess! a jewel in that area!

I stayed there the last time I went to Guggenheim, Spain. I stayed two days more in this newly designed place. Francois and Marie are so cool. Rent a board in Guethary surf school. Eat at the Arotzen Costa restaurant by the port, visit Biarritz and the coast down to Saint Jean the Luz.
Staying there was my best part of the trip
don’t tell everybody, only the best knows!
