Karen's Review Of This Property:

Salisbury is one of England’s loveliest cathedral city. Located where four river valleys meet in a gentle fold in the hills, Salisbury Cathedral was founded in 1220, and in 1334 the spire was added creating a masterpiece rising high above the town. Bolhays, an 1899 Victorian townhouse built on church land is a 10-minute walk from the cathedral. Sisters Bar and Sue run their bed and breakfast with much friendliness and are so knowledgeable about the area that you may want to make it your base for exploring beyond the city. A fire often blazes in the snug sitting room where guests have TV, interesting information, and comfy sofas and chairs. Wake to the smell of home-baked bread and enjoy a delicious breakfast of local bacon and brown eggs, an opportunity to meet fellow guests and cement your plans for the day. In really glorious weather breakfast is served on the garden patio. There’s a spacious front bedroom with a double bed and en suite shower room. I had an adorable bedroom overlooking the patio with a double brass bed, excellent reading lights, and robe for popping down the hall to my adjacent bathroom. Daytrip to London by train or tour by car to Bath and Winchester—Stonehenge is just up the road.
