Karen's Review Of This Property:

With guests’ comfort fully in mind, Francesca Adilardi, a native of Rome, acquired and totally renovated a spacious apartment covering two floors of a centuries-old building in the fish market area just across the Rialto bridge. The six charming bedrooms are well distributed between the two floors. Four of them are off the main entrance and dining room where a full breakfast is served. Historic Venetian names have been assigned to individually styled rooms: Doge, Casanova, Turandot, Vivaldi, Goldoni, and Mondo Nuovo. They are all quite spacious and well lit with typical spotted marble or parquet floors, scattered antiques, and the finest of bed linens. Bedspreads come from around the world and give each room a particular personality. The two quaint mansard rooms with exposed beams and skylights have parquet flooring and are somewhat smaller in size. Francesca has obviously enjoyed designing the contemporary styled bathrooms as each is completely different from the next. In a quiet residential area but very close to the action at the market and more touristy area across the famous bridge, this is a top notch B&B. Don’t let the gloomy entrance deter you, the main entrance is up a second flight of stairs.
