Karen's Review Of This Property:

Il Caggio is a delightful agriturismo farm, distinguishing itself from the many others by the sincere and warm hospitality of its owners, Gabriella and Paolo, and the superb quality of the meals. Conveniently located close to the main autostrada, guests have this corner of Chianti at their fingertips, from Siena, Cortona, Chianti, to Arezzo. Two bedrooms and two apartments are in part of the main stone house and an adjacent house. All are carefully appointed in a creative, country-style with great attention to details and the comfort of guests. All accommodations have private entrances from the exterior. In the rustic main house, the ambiance really warms up around Gabriella’s dinner table where a non-stop series of aperitifs, pasta specialties, and a dessert buffet are served, accompanied by good local wine. An abundant breakfast with more of Gabriella’s homemade, baked cakes awaits guests in the morning. A swimming pool behind the house bordering the woods is available, as well as a six-person hot hydro-jet pool. Convinced that their guests will enjoy their stay, their brochure warns: An extended stay here generates a sense of well-being with a tendency to forget about problems, tempting one to postpone going back home!
